Cari amici del MACT/CACT, Gentili Signore,
Egregi Signori,
con la mostra KEIN KÖRPER dedicata
all’artista Valter Luca Signorile e accompagnata
dalla pubblicazione ECODROME inizia
anche la campagna tessere per la stagione 2015.
Tra le novità è da annunciare un nuovo partenariato con tre nuovi musei
svizzeri, che figureranno sulla nostra carta di membro e che assicureranno la Vostra
entrata gratuita alle loro mostre: il Kunsthaus
Baselland (Dir. Ines Goldbach), il Kunsthaus
Langenthal (Dir. Raffael Dörig) e i nostri vicini di casa, l’Haus für Kunst Uri (Dir. Barbara
Zürcher).
Prosegue quindi il nostro impegno per creare una sorta di ‘ponte aereo’
tra la vicina Italia e la Svizzera confederata quale apertura verso il nord.
All’interno della programmazione, infatti, si è intensificata – anche per
quanto attiene alla tematizzazione dei progetti espositivi – la volontà di
scambio tra regioni più latine e altre dal pensiero più anglosassone.
Oltre la prima mostra tematica dell’anno, a partire da quest’anno la
nostra attenzione si concentrerà una volta all’anno e a rotazione su di una
proposta di mostra che coinvolga una collezione d’arte privata. Per il 2015 non
poteva mancare la Collezione d’Arte Mario
Matasci, la quale, attraverso l’impronta data da Mario Matasci, ha negli
ultimi quarant’anni espresso in maniera lungimirante e preconizzatrice la
nostra cultura a sud delle Alpi, tracciando le linee di un dialogo non sempre
facile tra Sud e Nord.
Parallelamente alle mostre, che saranno nella prossima stagione 4-5, il
MACT/CACT intende intensificare l’aggregazione del pubblico e le
collaborazioni, per cui si prevedono maggiori eventi a carattere musicale e un
maggiore impegno per il nostro tabloid. Il CAHIER
D’ART, infatti, dalla sua nascita a oggi ha riscosso un notevole riscontro
di pubblico, proprio grazie alla sua capacità di ridisegnare uno spazio d’arte
letterario ed editoriale quale complemento e all’interno delle attività
espositive e degli eventi.
Augurandoci di poterVi annoverare tra i nostri sostenitori anche per
l’anno che si appresta a iniziare, rimaniamo a Vostra disposizione e Vi presentiamo

Friends of the MACT/CACT, Ladies and Gentlemen,
With the exhibition KEIN KÖRPER (NO BODY), dedicated to the
artist Valter Luca Signorile and accompanied
by the publication ECODROME, the
membership drive for the 2015 season has its official launch.
The new developments we are pleased
to announce include a new partnership with three new museums in Switzerland, whose
names now appear on our membership cards, providing you with free entry to
their exhibitions: the Kunsthaus
Baselland (directed by Ines Goldbach), the Kunsthaus Langenthal (directed by Raffael Dörig) and our closer geographical
neighbours, the Haus für Kunst Uri (directed
by Barbara Zürcher).
This continues our tangible
commitment to build a sort of ‘air bridge’ between nearby Italy and our
confederate cousins in the rest of Switzerland, constituting an open door to
the north. Within the framework of our programme, we have intensified our focus
on achieving exchanges – including with regard to the topics chosen for our
exhibition projects – between more Latin regions and others with more of an
Anglo-Saxon mindset.
In addition to the year’s first
thematic exhibition, this year will see our attention focused once per annum
and in rotation on an exhibition proposal involving a private art collection. For
2015, we could not have chosen better than the Mario Matasci Art Collection, which bears the substantial
impression of its founder Mario Matasci’s own work, over the last forty years
expressing a far-sighted, anticipatory interpretation of our culture on the
southern side of the Alps and paving the way for a dialogue, one that has not
always been easy, between North and South.
In parallel with the exhibitions, of
which there will be four or five in the coming season, the MACT/CACT intends to
intensify its relationship with the public and its working partnerships: this
will take the shape of several major musical events and a greater commitment to
our tabloid: ever since its first issue, in fact, the CAHIER D’ART has achieved a considerable public impact, precisely
because of its ability to redesign a literary and editorial art space to complement
our exhibition activities and events from the inside.
